!VOTI Bin, is a program that traps ALL attempts to remove files, when this happens !VOTI Bin will relocate the files into it's own special (User definable) archives.
!VOTI Bin, is highly user-configurable, this in effect means that nearly the entire way in which !VOTI Bin handles deleted files can be controlled and setup by the user.
Users of !NoDelete (Aardvark Software) may well be familuer with these concepts, indeed this program is basically version 2, of the afore-mentioned system! The main differneces is that the authoer has formed a new company (in conjunction with a good friend)
Conditions for use of !VOTI Bin,

!VOTI Bin, is SHAREWARE. This means that after a trial period of two weeks, you must either delete the program and all it's assoicated files, or register the program. Registration costs the grand total of £5.00 sterling (Or more, if you feel it's worth it!). Please send this along with your Name, Address, Company or business name, email address. This is so I can send out updates to registered customers.
When you register you're entitled to request updates by sending me a disc and stamp, ask for new featurs to be added, feel good as you're supporting poor students like myself!

Right then now all the boring stuff's out the way, venture on to the extremely interesting details of how to use !VOTI Bin...
How to use !VOTI Bin,

VOTI Bin, has been designed to be as easy to use as possible. Indeed once it has been configured it will be completely transparent to the user! It supports numerous options to control how it acts, allows wiping of old trash, finding out how much space trash is taking up, allows searching of trash for files, etc...
If you click 'Adjust' on the iconbar icon, this will toggle !VOTI Bin on and off.
The 'Choices' window,

This window controls how !VOTI Bin functions, a description of the choices now follows;
Right then from the top :-)
Deletion control:
Ignore deletion requests... This option when set will allow normal deletion operations on the computer, ie nothing gets trashed!
Disallow files to be deleted... This option will stop deletion of any files.
Move deleted files to trash... Fairly obvious, isn't it?
Misc options:
Force confirmation of delete... This makes all the filer action windows confirm deletion operations.
Password required to quit... When this is set, you cannot kill the module or quit the desktop frontend with out first entering a password.
Show password... This changes the password icon from *'s to normal characters so it is possible to find out what the current password is.
Ignore deletion from !Scrap... This option is useful if you are using an application that uses virtual memory, and creates large files in !Scrap which are then deleted. these large files are completely ignored.
Squash trashed files... When set, !VOTI Bin will squash all trashed files.
Trash control:
Wipe trash... This will force !VOTI Bin to wipe trash when it gets to a certain age.
Confirm on removal of trash... This will request confirmation when trash is about to be wiped
Function outside desktop... If this is set, !VOTI Bin will trash all files that are deleted using *Wipe, *Delete, *Remove, OS_File, OS_FSControl...
The 'Find File' Window,

The find file window allows you to search all the archives for a specified file, or group of files. It fully supports wildcards and has quite a few options which comtrol what will happen when a file is found.
Choices:
Unsquash files when found... Fairly obvious!
Search only todays trash... Ditto :-)
Search using filetypes... When selected files only matching the specified filetype will be found.
Delete file... This will delete every file that is found!
Execute file... This will run every file that is found.
Show files when found... When selected this will open up a directory viewer with every found file in it.
Wipe Trash:

This window allows the user to control the trash archives, it alows selections of archives to be removed, and also the removal of all archives! It is also possible from here to find out how much disc space archives are taking up, useful if you are runnning short of disc space!
The archives are date sorted in the scrollable window, with the oldest at the top and the youngest at the bottom.
Password:
-=======-
This is where you enter the password to unlock the application. The default password is 'Windoze' Please note that passwords are NOT case sensitive.
Lock VOTI Bin:
-============-
This does exactly as it says it does! When this is clicked you can not access any of !VOTI Bin's functions until the correct password has been entered.
Show Trash:

This open a directory viewer containg all of the archive directories.
