  1. The Desktop window

  3. This window lets you change the appearance of the desktop.

  5. The first thing that you can do is add a backdrop which will appear behind
  6. the windows and this can be done by dropping a sprite file onto the sprite
  7. icon in the backdrop box or typing in its file name into the writable icon. 
  8. You will also need to set the 'Use backdrop' option.  In order to use
  9. backdrops you will need the 'Pinboard' module which is present on all Risc
  10. OS 3 machines but may have been unplugged.

  12. If you want to replace some desktop icons then set the 'Load IconSprites'
  13. option and drag a sprite file to the icon at the side.  If you want to
  14. replace some desktop tools then set the 'Load ToolSprites' option and drag a
  15. sprite file to the icon at the side.
