PICTURE/ICON DRAW AND EDIT PROGRAM Version 1.3
------------------------------------------------
README FILE
-----------
This file is for new users. Users of V1.2 should read the README.V12 file.
Welcome to my picture/icon viewer/editor. All the appropriate files are
included for the Series 3a. I have also included some example .PIC files
which I downloaded from various bulletin boards. Most of these were
uploaded by anonymous donors, so I offer them my thanks and acknowledgments
for their hard work.
The ZIP file should contain the following files:
\APP\DRAWS3A3.APP Main Application
\APP\S3ADRAW\DRAWS3AH.HLP Optional Help File
README.NEW This file
README.V12 Upgrade documentation
DRAWS3A3.DOC Documentation in Word for Windows format
DRAWS3A3.TXT Documentation in ASCII Text format
REGISTER.TXT Details of how to register

Installation:
1. Put the APP file (DRAWS3A3.APP) into an \APP\ directory.
2. If you wish to use the optional On-Line Help, put the DRAWS3AH.HLP
file into an \APP\S3ADRAW\ Sub-directory.
3. If you do not have one already, make a \PIC\ directory on any drive
(Not on a Flash SSD if you intend to edit the pictures) and put the
example .PIC files into it.
4. Install DRAWS3A3.APP as covered in the manual using <Psion-I>.
Update the system screen if required.
5. Select any picture to View/Edit, or press <Psion-N> to generate a
new picture.
6. Until you register the program, you will have to work through the
'nag' screens.
7. When you first run the program it will generate a DRAW.CFG file in
the \OPD\ directory on your default drive, to keep the defaults.
8. Play around with all of the menu commands to see the program's
capabilities. The on-line help is very comprehensive, so you should
only have to resort to the documentation very occasionally. To
encourage registration, I have 'switched out' all the various 'Save'
functions in unregistered copies.
