Help: Introduction to LOG-IT!*LOGIT is a time tracking program that will+track and organize billable or non billable
time.
,You may want to track phone calls to keep an(accurate log. You may need to track time/speaking with an attorney. You may just need to/time an egg on the stove. LOGIT will handle any
of these scenarios.
0LOGIT has two main views. The first is the Timer0View. The Timer View contains six timer windows.,Each window represents a separate timer. All.timers can run simultaneously. Press Enter to -start a new timer, or Delete to stop a timer.
Database.LOGIT has the ability to store your frequently,used timer items, or client list. It will do-this automatically if set in the preferences..There is a separate menu heading for adding to
or editing the database.
Help: Timer View*The Timer View is where you start and stop,your timers. Press Enter to start, or Delete*to stop a timer. If you have items in your*database, they will show on the first line,when starting a new timer. By default, LOGIT,will add all new items to the database. This,can be changed in the preferences. Note that.when you choose an item from the database, you,cannot add a description. LOGIT assumes that+when you add a description you are creating,a new database item, and not using one from
the database.

Help: Log View+The Log View is where you view saved timer +entries. You can have multiple Logs. If you+use LOGIT for billing based on Client Name,.you can create a separate Log for each Client.
(Opening the Log View to full screen will,allow you to view the starting times of each
timer.
*Elapsed time can be viewed by Hours, or by-Hours/Minutes. Decimal places are adjustable.
,From the Log View you can manually add timer+entries for items you forgot to time. Press"Psion<E> to add a new timer entry.

Help: Timer Types+LOGIT has two types of timers. The first is,the type that just counts time for an event.'The Second is a countdown timer for the*case when you need to be reminded after a
certain period of time.
)Timer Types are chosen in the Start Timer
dialog.
Help: Database*LOGIT has a Database for storing your most(frequently used Items. By default, LOGIT+saves all new timer descriptions as entries+in the database. This can be changed in the
preferences.

Help: Log Files)LOGIT uses Log Files to store saved timer&entries. LOGIT starts you out with the*default Log File called TimerLog. However,)you can create as many separate Log Files
as you need.
Creating New Log Files&Create New Log Files by pressing Psion*Shift<N> from the Log View. Enter the name'for your new Log File. Now, if you want)the option to save to a specific Log File*from the Timer View, go to the preferences)and set the preference called "Prompt for*Filename When Logging to File", and set it
to"Yes".
Help: Exporting-LOGIT can export it's data in CSV text format+using different delimiters. It also can add%quotes. (CSV = Comma Separated Value)
Help: Reports+Under the Report menu in the Log View there
are two options.
Total by Date
Set Filter
.The first reports the time and charges by date
for the Log file being viewed.,The second lets you limit the search to only0matching entries, based on your search criteria.,The total for the selected criteria shows on
bottom of the screen.
Help: Utilities&LOGIT comes with two special utilities
built into it.
