Variously described as eclectic or neo-gothic is style. It sprawls for 268 metres between the embankment and Kossuth square, dominating the vicinity with a facade embelished by 88 statues of Hungarian rulers. The symetrical wings housing the assemblies meet beneath a gigantic cupola 96 metres high, when not in session, there are quided tours of the splendid interior.
