Margaret Island is the most picturesque park of Budapest. It lies in the middle of the Danube between Margaret Bridge and ┴rpßd Bridge. Originally, there were three islands here but with the regulation of the river and with reinforcement of the banks the present size was shaped. There are tennis courts, promenades, swimming pools, a Japanese-garden to see; an open-air theatre, zoo and a Franciscan church to visit on the island.
