Many smaller and bigger baths can be found in Budapest. The reason for this is the geological furrow at the edges of the plain of Pest and the hills of Buda. In a 10 km range hot springs break up along this line. 70 million liters of spring-water spout daily from 123 thermal waters and 400 bitter water springs. The baths and spas are visited by millions of people every year.
