The 14 m high woman figure showing up a palm branch on top of GellΘrt Hill was made by the sculptor Zsigmond Strobl Kisfaludy in 1947. At her feet there is a bronze statue of a Soviet soldier with symbolic figures on his sides. The names of the Soviet soldiers who fell for the liberation of Budapest in World War II are graved on the pedestal of the statue
