One of the most elegant hotels in the capital was built in 1976 by the architect BΘla PintΘr. In the Middle Ages this was the site of a Dominican church and monastery. During the archeological excavations preceding the building of the hotel, the inner yard of the monastery was found. The gothic relics of the Middle Ages were built into the hotel.
