This bridge was named after the leaders of the conquering Hungarian trives, ┴rpßd. The construction started in 1939 to the designs of Jßnos Kossalka but it had to be interrupted because of World War II.
The work was only comleted in 1950 with the guidance of Kßroly SzΘchy and Pßl Savoy. Later at the end of the 70s the bridge was wideried. Its length is 928 m, its width is 26.
