╘O GET STARTED WITH A SINGLE DRIVE AND NO ╥.┼.╒., PLACE THE
╓IDEO 128 DISK IN DRIVE 8 AND TURN THE COMPUTER ON (OR TYPE 'BOOT'
OR RUN'BOOT') AND THE MAIN MENU WILL APPEAR. ╫ITH A SINGLE DRIVE
SYSTEM OR ANY SETUP, IT IS WISE TO HAVE A SEPARATE DISK FOR DATA
FILES, THIS ENSURES THE ╓IDEO 128 DISK IS NOT WRITTEN TO AND
POSSIBLY CORRUPTED. ┬UT FOR ANY USE OF THE ╓IDEO 128 UTILITIES,
THAT DISK MUST BE IN THE DRIVE (OF COURSE).
╞OR A TWO DRIVE SYSTEM WITH NO ╥.┼.╒., IT IS BEST TO PLACE
THE ╓IDEO 128 DISK IN DRIVE 9 AND USE 8 FOR DATA FILES (SINCE ALL
PROGRAMS ONLY ACCESS DRIVE 8.) ╘O BOOT THE MAIN MENU TYPE 'BOOTU9'
OR 'RUN'BOOT',U9'. ╔T IS BEST TO HAVE THE FASTEST DRIVE AS THE
DATA DRIVE 8 WHEN GENERATING AN ANIMATION TO A DRIVE. ╘HIS WILL
SPEED UP RENDERING TIME, BUT WILL STILL BE VERY TIME CONSUMING
OVER THE USE OF AN ╥.┼.╒.
╫HEN USING AN ╥.┼.╒., FOLLOW THE PREVIOUS SINGLE OR TWO DRIVE
START-UP PROCEDURES. ┬UT WHEN GENERATING AN ANIMATION, IT IS FAR
FASTER TO SEND IT TO THE ╥.┼.╒. INSTEAD OF A DRIVE.
┴FTER THE MAIN MENU HAS BEEN RUN AND NO COMPUTER REST HAS
OCCURRED, TO RETURN TO THE MAIN MENU AT ANY TIME, ASSUMING NO
PROGRAM IS RUNNING, PRESS ╞4. ┼LSE YOU MUST TYPE THE BOOT OR RUN
SEQUENCE MENTIONED EARLIER.
╫┴╥╬╔╬╟: ╫HEN USING AN ╥.┼.╒., YOU MUST KEEP THE CONTACTS ├╠┼┴╬,
ESPECIALLY IF YOU UNPLUG IT A LOT. ╘HIS PROGRAM WILL NOT WORK
CORRECTLY WITH DIRTY CONTACTS, AND MAY CAUSE UNNECESSARY PROGRAM
GLITCHES/CRASHES.

╓IDEO 128 CONTAINS NUMEROUS COMMANDS WHICH WILL BE EXPLAINED
ONE BY ONE TO KEEP THEIR USE AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE.
╞1 - ╠OAD ╧BJECT
╫HEN THIS COMMAND IS SELECTED, IT CATALOGS ALL OBJECT FILES
IN DRIVE 8, AND DISPLAYS THEM ON THE SCREEN. ╓IDEO 128 WILL
THEN ASK FOR THE FILENAME OF THE OBJECT TO BE LOADED. ╘HESE
FILES ARE CREATED USING EITHER ╙╧╟ (╙IMPLE ╧BJECT ╟ENERATOR)
OR WITH ┼─ (╘EXT ┼DITOR). ╓IDEO 128 THEN ASKS FOR THE
PARENT OBJECT NUMBER. (╘HIS IS EXPLAINED ELSEWHERE IN THE
MANUAL.) ╘HE OBJECT IS THEN LOADED WHILE BEING PRINTED TO
THE SCREEN. ╫HEN THE OBJECT'S DEFINITION FILE HAS BEEN
