  8. Introduction:
  9.      This program is meant to be used with Windows 3.1.  If you
  10. don't have Windows 3.1, you have just wasted some of your download
  11. time.  However, this does not mean you can't send me money.  I
  12. worked real hard writing this, and am about to be evicted.  Well,
  13. maybe not evicted, but the money will be put to good use(i.e. stuff
  14. I want).
  15.      This program will and does allow the user to play a random wav
  16. file upon entering and exiting from windows.  This works best if
  17. you have some type of sound card, but will work with the internal
  18. speaker if you have installed the SPEAK.DRV available from
  19. Microsoft or BBS's.

  22. Installation:
  23.   1} Copy the RANWAV.EXE and WINR.BAT to a directory in your path. 
  24.      If you don't know how to do this, sell your computer and take
  25.      up some other hobby.  I would suggest hang gliding.
  26.      Next locate and remember where your WAV files are located. 
  27.   2) They should either be in the WINDOWS directory or in a
  28.      directory you have set up.  Copy the RANOPEN.WAV and
  29.      RANCLOS.WAV files to this location.  
  30.   3) I guess the next thing you need to do is modify your WIN.INI
  31.      file.  You can do this through Windows Control Panel or by
  32.      editing the file with an ASCII editor.  Set your WINDOWS START
  33.      to RANOPEN.WAV and WINDOWS EXIT to RANCLOS.WAV.  You can now
  34.      leave windows if you want.
  35.   4) Finally, modify the WINR.BAT file to specify the location of
  36.      your WAV files (I told you to remember).  You can now enter
  37.      WINR to change your entry/exit sounds and enter windows or
  38.      continue entering windows the old fashion way.  You won't have
  39.      random sounds, but some people don't adjust well to change.
