  19. IcoShow, an overview
  20. ────────────────────

  22.     . You can manage a large count of icons (over 10,000 icons in more than
  23.       50 windows) including within icon files or libraries (Exe/Dll/Nil/Icl).
  24.  
  25.     . IcoShow arranges icons in windows, one window per directory including 
  26.       icons.
  27.  
  28.     . You can select and/or exclude icons for/from processing (copy, move,
  29.       write to a library) in one or all windows using wildcards (?/*/[]).
  30.  
  31.     . You can select icons for other processing (rename, edit) one by one.
  32.  
  33.     . IcoShow prints selected icons from current window to any matrix,
  34.       laserjet, postscript or ink-jet printer. You may also print in color
  35.       if your printer can handle the output.

  37.     . You can drag icons direct to program manager.

  39.     . If you click on the right mouse button, IcoShow displays a Properties
  40.       Menu of the current icon.

  42.     . IcoShow will save settings and the current desktop for the next 
  43.       session to the file ICOSHOW.INI.

  46. Installing IcoShow
  47. ──────────────────

  49. The following files used for IcoShow must be in a directory you choose:

  51.               ICOSHOW.EXE               Main program
  52.               ICOSHOW.HLP               Help file
  53.               ICOSHOW.INI               Ini file (always in directory of the EXE)
  54.               ICOSHOWH.DLL              Dll used to install icons
  55.  
  56. Special feature:
  57.  
  58.           BWCC.DLL            If you have this library in a directory
  59.                     where Windows can find it IcoShow will
  60.                     use Borland's Resources. If not, IcoShow
  61.                     will display dialog boxes which do not
  62.                     use Borland's Resources.

  65. Example:   Your Windows directory is C:\WIN. Then type the following commands 
  66.        from DOS prompt :

  68.                      md c:\win\tools
  69.                      copy a:\icoshow*.* c:\win\tools

  72. You can use the batch file ICOINST.BAT to do that. Start this with
  73.  
  74.            a:\icoinst c:\win\tools

  76. On place of c:\win\tools you can use another directory.
