  1.      GeoClock shows the current time (based on your computer's clock) with
  2. a high quality map of the earth.  The current sun position is displayed,
  3. and the parts of the earth in sunlight and twilight are highlighted.  This
  4. display is automatically updated every few seconds.  Local sunrise, sunset,
  5. the sun's azimuth and elevation, and times around the world are also
  6. displayed.  A variety of map backgrounds and other options are available. An
  7. EGA, VGA, or better graphics adapter and a hard disk are required.
  8.      GEOCLK45.LZH (or ZIP) contains the program files required to run
  9. GeoClock.  GEOCLK1A.LZH (or ZIP) contains the map files.  Both files are
  10. required, unless you have map files (MAP*.EGA) from a prior version of
  11. GeoClock.  You should run SETUPGEO as soon as you unarchive the program.
  12. Then, enter  GEOCLK HELP  to start the program and access the on-line
  13. documentation and help system.
  14.      GeoClock is distributed as shareware.  This means that if you use and
  15. enjoy the program, you are expected to register it.  The registered version
  16. bypasses the open help screen, and includes the zoom, distance measuring,
  17. and city time display functions, and at least 25 maps.

  19. Version 4.5 of GEOCLOCK includes the following major features that were not
  20. in version 4.4:
  21. 1.  A set-up program (SETUPGEO) to simplify the customization of GeoClock to
  22. your location and time zone has been added.
  23. 2.  Maps reflect the latest (92/08/10) changes in the former USSR and former
  24. Yugoslavia.
  25. 3.  A "screen saver" script has been added.  This script changes to a randomly
  26. selected map every 60 seconds.  To activate this function, press "9" while
  27. GeoClock is running, or enter from the DOS command line  GEOCLK SCRIPT9
