  21.     Functions of DIR-DESC
  22.  
  23. File: Description - Append upto 55 characters to
  24.       the currently seleted file name.
  25.  
  26.       Copy - Make a copy of the currently Selected
  27.       file. Enter any valid Directory/file name.
  28.  
  29.       Move - Move the currently selected file to
  30.       a new directory (must be on the same drive)
  31.  
  32.       Rename - Give the currently selected file a
  33.       new name (valid dos file names only).
  34.  
  35.       ERASE - Delete the currently selected file
  36.       from the current directory.
  37.  
  38.       View - View file in both ASCII and HEX
  39.  
  40.       Shell - suspend execution of DIR-DESC and
  41.       Exit to dos type EXIT to return where you
  42.       left off.
  43.  
  44.       Exit - Quit and exit DIR-DESC.

  46. DIRECTORY:
  47.       Change - if the currently selected file name
  48.       is a Directory, when enter is pressed the
  49.       system will change into that Directory
  50.       automaticly and the new directory will be
  51.       displayed on the screen.
  52. If the currently
  53.       selected File name is a File you will be
  54.       prompted to enter the directory you want to
  55.       display, at this point you may change the
  56.       current drive by entering a different drive
  57.       letter followed by a valid dos path.
  58.  
  59.       Make - Make a new directory.
  60.  
  61.       Remove - if the currently selected file name
  62.       is a directory and only if the directory has
  63.       no files, it will be erased.

  65.       KILL - WARNING this feature can be dangerous
  66.       to use, it will DELETE all files and
  67.       sub-directories below the current directory.

  70. PRINT:DISKETTE JACKET - Print the outline of a disk
  71.       jacket which can be cut out, folded and taped
  72.       together. this make a handy disk-jacket.
  73.       including the file names on the diskette
  74.       (this is primarily for floppy directories)

  76.       File - Send the current file to the printer
  77.  
  78.       Descriptions - Print the current directory's
  79.       file names and descriptions.

  81.       Current DIR - Print the current directory
  82.       (Dos Format).

  84.       Convert - useful for converting Description
  85.       files into ASCII text file which can be
  86.       imported into most wp editors

  88. LOCATE:Filename - Will find the first file name
  89.        selected. wild cards are acepted.

  91.       Selected Text - Search for selected text
  92.       in the current directory's comments field.

  94. SORT: File Name - Sort current directory by the 
  95.       eight character file name.

  97.       Extention - Sort current directory by the 
  98.       Three character extention.

  100.       Comment - Sort current directory by the 55
  101.       character Comments field.

  103.       Unsorted - Do not sort directory.

  105. Attributes:
  106.       Hidden - Make a file not visiable to simple
  107.       dos commands.

  113.       Archive - Tell your software that this file
  114.       needs to be backup up, there were some new
  115.       changes made to this file.

  117.       Date/Time - Change the date and time of the
  118.       file.

  120. UTILITIES:
  121.       Format - prepare a new diskette for use,
  122.       valid drives are A: or B:.  You may 
  123.       specify 360k, 1.2meg, 720k, 1.44meg. 
  124.       With the easy to use menu just enter a drive
  125.       letter and then press the tab key to inform
  126.       DD on what size you are formating.
  127.       format a diskette in drive A: for 360k.

  129.       Volume label - Add or modify the Volume
  130.       label of the current drive.

  132.       DATE - Change/Set the date on the system.
