  4. The access programs for this CD are PSL_SHRD for DOS and PSL_SHRW for Windows.
  5. In addition, COPYFILE will let you copy files from the command line just by
  6. entering the file name. (File names are shown in PsL News write-ups.)

  8. Press ESC after reading this file (if you ran GO) and run one of those
  9. programs or type README for some preliminary information about this CD.

  11. Before running the Windows program, run SETUP.BAT from the DOS prompt.

  13. The access programs will let you read descriptions of all the programs on
  14. this CD. While reading about a program, you can install it by pressing by
  15. following the prompts on-screen. (NOTE: Due to limitations of DOS, the DOS
  16. access program will only let you see descriptions of the programs on this CD
  17. while the Windows program will let you see the programs on ALL of the CD's.

  19. Programs are arranged on this CD in directories by subject.
  20. For a quick way to read about a single directory/subject, change into that
  21. directory and enter: \GO
  22. At the present time, you cannot install programs from inside GO.
  23.  
  24. PsL's installation will simply un-ZIP a program's files onto your hard disk.
  25. After that, you must read the program's documentation (look for files with
  26. extensions of "DOC" or "TXT" or with "READ ME" in the names). You can use
  27. VIEW.COM from this CD to read those files. Some programs may have an
  28. additional installation program you must run. In some cases, you may have to
  29. copy the program files to a floppy to install them. PsL did not write these
  30. programs and cannot change their installation procedures. Read the program's
  31. documentation for installation and other program instructions.
