Bio Menace 1.0 [BMENACE] (Apogee Software, reg. fee: $35) is an action

experiments have taken over. This looks like a job for CIA operative,
Snake Logan. Help our hero destroy hideous creatures, like the purple
slugs, swamp monsters, and boxing dinosaurs. Enter office buildings and
apartments where these monsters have done there dirty work, leaving death
and slim in their wake. Search for survivors while destroying the monsters
with your M60 pulse rifle and the grenades you collect along the way.
Collect keys and power crystals to keep your strength up. This game
includes sharp, exciting graphics, plenty of sound effects, and loads of
variety to keep the action going. Requires 256-color VGA and a 386 with 1
meg of disk space. It supports joysticks, gamepads and Sound Blaster
compatible sound cards. <BIOBOY.PCX>
Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold 1.0 [BSTONE] (Apogee Software, reg. fee:
$45-65) is an action packed arcade/adventure game. Dr. Pyrus Goldfire has
found a way to replicate pure gold, which he's using to fund his maniacal
plan to take over the earth with bizarre creatures. Goldfire has built a
secure, futuristic, high rise where his genetic mutations are being
hatched. It's up to our hero, special operations commander Blake Stone, to
penetrate his security and stop him at all costs.
Dr. Goldfire is on the 9th floor of the building, waiting for the final
showdown with Stone. Find the pass key at each floor that will allow you to
advance to each new level. Along the way, there will be members of
Goldfire's elite security force prepared to stop you. There are also
Bio-Techs roaming the building. Some of them are angry with their leader
and have turned informant, giving you secrets and extra power. Be careful,
many of them are still loyal to Goldfire and will only lure you in, just to
finish you off. That's not all you'll have to contend with. Dr. Goldfire
senses your approach and will launch an arsenal of mutant beings that grow
more loathsome as you conquer each level.
Requires VGA 256 color graphics video card, 605k of RAM, and 4 MB of hard
disk space. It also supports Sound Blaster compatible sound cards,
joysticks, and gamepads. <BLAKE2.PCX>
CAVESAMP 1.0 [CAVESAMP] (Explorer Software, reg. fee: $0) is a collection
of eight caves for use with Explorer Software's Spelunker cave simulation
program.
Duke Nukem II 1.0 [DN2] (Apogee Software, reg. fee: $40) is a sequel to the
successful adventures of our hero, Duke Nukem. In this latest saga, Duke
Nukem is abducted by aliens while being interviewed on TV about his best
selling book "Why I'm So Great". Duke's alien captors need his brain in
order to formulate a master plan to seize Earth. Duke will be turned into a
mindless zombie in the process. Not content with the alien's brain-drain
idea, Duke escapes his alien prison cell and must now battle to end the
hideous plans of the enemy.
If you've played any of Duke Nukem's previous adventures, you'll enjoy many
of the familiar features, as well as many of the considerable improvements.
It this is your first attempt, be prepared for excitement. Duke Nukem 2
includes vivid, VGA graphics, music and digitized sound effects, and
several alien monsters and robo-droids that become more determined at each
level. In this sequel, Duke has four weapons: blaster, laser cannon,
missiles, and flame thrower. The flame thrower, when aimed downward,
propels Duke upward like a jetpack.

disk space. It also supports SoundBlaster compatible sound cards,
joysticks, and gamepads. <DUKE.PCX>

choice of items such as spare batteries, ropes and grapples, and a map
showing any previous explorations that have been done in this particular
set of caves. Care is required, particularly around pits; it is possible
