  8. If you are upgrading from Galactic Overlord 1.0 please read the
  9. following important information.

  11. Galactic Overlord 1.10 uses a new game file format.  In order to
  12. convert your old game files to the new format simply run the UPDATE
  13. utility in the directory where the game files are stored.  Once this
  14. process is completed, the UPDATE utility will no longer be needed.
  15.  
  16. If you do not perform this task, Galactic Overlord will find the v1.0
  17. games but will not allow them to be played.
