Controls for BASE CONFLICT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Adjusts speed one bit higher-(At SETUP) CURSOR KEYS :
- Adjusts speed one bit slower-(At Setup) LEFT = Smaller Angle
> More power RIGHT = Bigger Angle
< Less power UP = MORE Power
] Smaller angle DOWN = Less Power
[ Bigger angle
1 - Launch Missiles *- Use these in conjuction
2 - Sends Tank with the <CTRL> key for more
3 - Builds Missiles accuracy-*
4 - Builds Tanks
5 - Watch scenery ANY KEY - Presses any key (-:
6 - Give up/ QUIT
A - Asks for reinforcements
Tank Screen :
1-3 One to three missile tanks
4 - CANCEL -Returns to orders menu
5 - HIT AND RUN - Tanks shoots one missile then returns to base
6 - SHOOT UNTIL EMPTY - Tank shoots until it's empty then returns to his
safe base.
7 - KAMIKAZE TANK - Tank shoots until empty then explodes causeing damage
to the enemy base
8 - SEND TANK ON HIS WAY - Sends tanks on their way.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- STORY -
BATTLE HAS SPREAD OUT BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR NEIGHBOR BASE. IT'S UP TO
YOU TO SETTLE EVERYTHING UP... THE HARD WAY.
THE SCENERY OF THE GAME IS SET UP IN AN EVER CHANGING ENVIRONMENT OF
MOUNTAINS AND PLANES. THE TWO BASES ARE AT EACH CORNER PLANNING THEIR ATTACKS.
THE GOAL OF THE GAME IS TO ANNIHILATE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE ENEMY LIVING
AT THE ENEMY BASE. THE WINNER IS DECIDED WHEN NOBODY REMAINS IN ONE OF THE
BASES DECLARING THE OTHER PLAYER THE WINNER.
PLAYER ONE IS THE BLUE BASE LOCATED AT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN.
PLAYER TWO IS THE RED BASE LOCATED AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SCREEN.
CHOOSE YOUR ANGLE AT THE PLAYER SCREEN USING THE CURSOR KEYS, LEFT
WILL MOVE YOUR ANGLE TOWARD THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT CURSOR KEY WILL MOVE
YOUR ANGLE TOWARD THE RIGHT SIDE.
CHOOSE THE POWER NEEDED TO FIRE THE MISSILE USING THE UP AND DOWN
CURSOR KEYS. UP INCREASES THE POWER AND DOWN DECREASES THE POWER. NOTE
THAT EVERY TIME YOU GET A DIRECT HIT, YOUR MAXIMUM POWER DECREASES AND
YOUR BASE GET UNDER REPAIRS FOR A FEW ROUNDS UNTIL EVERYTHING IS BACK TO
NORMAL. IT USUALLY FIXES ITSELF AROUND 5 PERCENT PER ROUND.
ORDERS :
1 - LAUNCH MISSILES - THIS OPTIONS LAUNCHES MISSILES. SENDS IT FLYING
IN THE SELECTED ANGLE WITH THE SELECTED POWER. NOTE THAT THE GAME IS SET UP
WITH RUBBER WALLS AT THE SIDES SO IF A MISSILE HITS A WALL IT WILL BOUNCE
BACK. YOU CAN USE THIS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE BUT IT CAN SHOOT BACK SOMETIMES.
2 - SEND TANK - THIS OPTION TAKES TO THE TANK ORDER SCREEN. THERE YOU
SELECT HOW MANY MISSILES WILL THE TANK HAVE AND WHAT ORDERS WILL IT HAVE.
ONCE IT LEAVES THE BASE ORDERS CANNOT BE CHANGED.
HIT AND RUN - THIS OPTION WILL MAKE THE TANK ATTACK ONLY ONCE
AND THEN RETURN TO THE HOME BASE. THIS IS THE MOST SECURE
ONE SINCE THE TANK SPENDS THE LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME ON THE
BATTLE FIELD.
ATTACK UNTIL EMPTY - THIS OPTION IS THE MOST CONSERVATIVE AND
HARMFUL COMBINATION. THE TANK WILL SHOOT AT THE ENEMY BASE
UNTIL IT RUNS OUT OF MISSILES. THEN IT WILL TRY TO COME BACK
TO HOME BASE. YOU RETAIN THE TANK THIS WAY.
KAMIKAZE TANK - THIS OPTION WILL TELL THE TANK TO ATTACK UNTIL IT'S
EMPTY. THEN IT WILL AUTO-DESTROY ITSELF CAUSING EVEN MORE
HARM TO THE ENEMY BASE. THIS IS THE MOST HARMFUL TANK HAVING
A POTENTIAL OF KILLING AROUND 600 TO 700 PEOPLE IF IT
COMPLETES IT TASK.
3 - BUILD MISSILES - THIS OPTION WILL START THE PROCEDURE OF BUILDING
MISSILES. THE BASE HAS THE POTENTIAL OF CONSTRUCTING UP TO FIVE MISSILES
AND A MINIMUM OF TWO IN ONE ROUND.
4 - BUILD TANK - THIS ONE WILL START THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TANK. THIS
TAKES AT RANDOM FROM 3 TO 5 TURNS (ROUNDS) TO COMPLETION. YOU'LL SEE A MESSAGE
IN THE NOTES BULLETIN WHEN THE TANK IS FINISHED AND READY TO RUN.
5 - WATCH SCENERY - THIS OPTION LETS YOU SEE THE BATTLE SCENE SO YOU CAN
CALCULATE YOUR SHOT WITH MORE PRECISION. KEEP IN MIND THE WIND FACTOR WHICH
KEEPS CHANGING.
6 - GIVE UP / QUIT - THIS OPTION QUITS THE GAME LEAVING AS WINNER THE
ONE WITH MORE PEOPLE AT THE BASE AT THE TIME NO MATTER WHAT HAS HAPPENED
BEFORE.
NOTES :
THE WIND IS A VERY POWERFUL FACTOR IN THE TRAJECTORY OF THE MISSILE. DON'T
EVER IGNORE IT.
YOU START OUT WITH 1500 PEOPLE AT THE BEGGINING OF THE GAME AND THE CHANCES
OF GETTING THOSE REINFORCEMENTS APPROVED GET SMALLER EVERYTIME YOU
APPLY FOR THEM SO DON'T WASTE YOUR CHANCES AND WAIT TILL THE END TO
ASK FOR THEM.
YOU CAN HAVE ONLY ONE TANK OUT AT ONE TIME.
