Super Decoder
Version 1.1
By Lars F. Brandt
The program requires the following files in the Windows "\system" directory:
VBRUN300.DLL
CMDIALOG.VBX
THREED.VBX
To install this program, create a directory, any directory, and place the
following files in them:
DECODER.EXE
DECODER.INI
DECODE.HLP
Open the "Games" group in windows. From the Windows menu bar, under the
"File" header, choose "New". Select "Program Item" and select the "DECODER.EXE"
file and its directory that it is in. Change the description to "Super Decoder".
Select "OK" to create the icon.
This program was written in Visual Basic 3.0 on a Windows For Workgroups 3.11
platform. I do not have the resources to test this program on other platforms,
but my assumption is that this program will work on Windows 3.x or higher, and
Windows NT 3.x or higher. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Although this program is a simple windows game, and is not based on graphics,
it was designed with beautification purposes in mind. All the forms and game
pieces get color shading when windows has video capabilities beyond 256 colors.
The program works in 256 mode, but does not get colored forms nor game piece
shading.
This game is freeware, which means I am liable for nothing. Anyone can
distribute it to anywhere at anytime. I do not care. If that happens, I will
merely be flattered that I wrote a program that people like well enough that
they care to do that.
I do care though to hear from you, since this really was my first adventure
into distributing a program I wrote. Send all good/bad comments to my CompuServe
address:

I hope it is fun.
