THIS IS AN ALPHA VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE, CURRENTLY v3.0 ALPHA 8.
MANY FEATURES ARE NOT YET IMPLEMENTED AND MANY OTHERS ARE NOT FUNCTIONAL.
THIS PROGRAM IS SHAREWARE, YOU ARE GRANTED LICENSE TO USE THIS ALPHA
VERSION FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, THE DAY THE FINAL (NON-ALPHA) VERSION
SHIPS YOU ARE NO LONGER PERMITTED TO USE THIS VERSION AND THE LICENSING
TERMS STATED IN THE FINAL VERSION WILL IMMEDIATELY TAKE EFFECT.

IEMANUAL.HLP Program Manual in WinHelp hypertext format.
Much left to be done...
IEDECODE.DLL Image Eye decoding and image processing engine.
Full functionality.
IESHELLX.DLL Image Eye Shell extension for Windows 95. (not included)
Everything left to do...
WEYE.EXE Windows 95 User interface.
Resample not implemented.
OLE server not implemented.
DEYE.EXE DOS/DPMI User interface. (not included)

1) Requirements
* Windows front end (WEYE.EXE, WIDIR.EXE):
- Ms Windows 95, (should run on NT 3.5 as well).
- Mouse or equivalent pointing device (no 'keyboard only' support).
* DOS front end (DEYE.EXE):
- i386 compatible processor.
- VGA compatible SVGA video card with VESA VBE support/driver.
- AT compatible keyboard.
- Ms DOS v3.3 or later, any memory managers must support VCPI or DPMI.
2) Installation:
* Move or unzip all the files into a directory of your choice.
* Windows notes:
* DOS/DPMI notes:
DEYE uses the Borland DOS extender, 32RTM.EXE and DPMI32VM.OVL.
See documentation that Borland provides for setting up virtual memory
and such stuff...
To run in a Windows DOS box you must install "device=WINDPMI.386"
under the "[386Enh]" section of your system.ini file.
