  1. UUdeview DOS Installation

  4. The first step, of course, is to get a copy of the program to your hard disk. If
  5. you have not already done so, click here (64kB) to get a copy. To unzip the
  6. file, you will also need pkunzip (200kB) to un-archive the files.

  8. Now that you have pkunzip installed, and the copy of uudeview on your
  9. hard disk (by the name of uudeview.zip), all you need is a single command
  10. to install it:

  12.         pkunzip uudeview uudeview.exe
  13.  
  14. This extracts the executable from the archive. Now simply copy this
  15. program to any directory in your path, and you've successfully installed the
  16. DOS version of uudeview.

  18. Maybe I should mention that some people have had troubles when trying
  19. to run uudeview in a Windows DOS box. I have not tried to do so myself,
  20. and somehow I doubt it. Please try yourself, and mail me if you run into
  21. problems.
