  8. These files contain an early demo of the
  9. Smalltalk/Win95 language.  Permission is
  10. granted for free distribution of these files
  11. as long as no money is charged and all copyright
  12. notices are left intact.

  14. Smalltalk/Win95 is a multi-threaded, interpreted
  15. language designed for use over networks.
  16.  
  17. The language interpreter is built entirely using
  18. the Microsoft Foundation Classes and runs under
  19. the Microsoft Windows95 operating system. Ports
  20. are planned to many Windows/NT based systems by
  21. the end of 1996.

  40.    3) Games interface featuring DirectDraw
  41.    4) Integration of Microsoft's Internet controls

  44. Installation notes:

  46. The software requires the files MFC40.DLL, MSVCRT40.DLL & MSVCRT.DLL
  47. to be installed in the \windows\system directory. They may
  48. already be installed on your system. If not, the file
  49. mfc.zip contains these two files in compressed format.

  51. The file rwst.zip contains:
  52.     STWIN.EXE    Smalltalk interpreter.
  53.     STWIN.IM    Image file.

  55. STWIN.EXE and STWIN.IM should be installed in the same directory.
