  4. Overview
  5. ========
  6. Contact Manager V1.0 is a program which manages a database
  7. of personal information about people. The program's database
  8. is predefined. It includes details about business and home
  9. addresses and phone numbers, personal and company Internet
  10. (e-mail and home pages) information, and additional personal
  11. details including details about family and two unlimited
  12. 'Note' fields which are scrollable and can contain a
  13. virtually unlimited amount of information.
  14. Each record is built as a tabbed card, with easy access to
  15. any item of information. The program enables searches
  16. through the database according to 10 different field
  17. criteria, printing full records or name list reports, and
  18. editing/updating of records 'in place', adding, deleting,
  19. navigating or jumping to desired records, etc.

  21. Installation
  22. ============
  23. To install CM10, unzip the distributed file (1.5MB .zip)
  24. and run the 'setup' utility. Choose the desired directory
  25. for installation. The program automatically installs a .\db
  26. directory under the target directory for storing the
  27. database. It also installs some DLL files for a minimum
  28. installation of Borland's BDE, some of them under the path
  29. 'Program Files\Borland\Common Files\BDE' in your windows 95
  30. drive.

  32. An 'Uninstall' utility is also automatically installed. Use
  33. the Add/Remove Programs control panel to get rid of all
  34. program components automatically.

  37. NOTE: If you have the BDE already installed on your computer
  38.       you can delete all of the DLL files from the target
  39.       CM10 directory after installation.

  41. Help
  42. ====
  43. The program includes a Help file which provides basic
  44. information on how to operate the program. I hope you will
  45. not need it much, because the application seems pretty
  46. simple to operate (at least to me).

  49. ============
  50. You are free to use this proram with no obligation for the
  51. period of 60 (sixty) days. If, after that time, you decide
  52. to keep the application, you are required to register, by
  53. sending $15 to the following address:
