  1. Welcome to SomeOne's Coming!

  3. System Requirements:
  4.  
  5. VB40032.DLL in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.  It's not included,
  6. but its probably already on your hardrive, and if not, its
  7. available from literally millions of BBS's and Online services
  8.  
  9. Basic Windows Requirements. (Maybe slightly a bit more RAM; I don't
  10. quite know. After all, this is a free program! :-) If there are any
  11. bugs, please contact me at the addresses below)

  13. Installation:
  14.  
  15. The file (some32.zip) includes the installation file.
  16.  
  17. Unzip the file in to a directory (e.g. "c:\someone"), and run
  18. the file setup.exe by double clicking on it.  Someone's Coming will
  19. be set up on your machine. Then, make a shortcut entry on your Start
  20. menu, under "Startup".
  21.  
  22. In the event that Someone's Coming purports an error, do the following:
  23.  
  24. 1) Make sure the files COMCTL32.OCX and COMDLG32.OCX are in the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
  25.  
  26. 2) Goto the "Start" menu, and select "Run"
  27.  
  28. 3) Type in the path of Someone's Coming, followed by "\REGOCX32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMCTL32.OCX" 
  29. (without quotes)
  30.    for instance, if Someone's Coming were located in "C:\SOME32", you would type:
  31.    "C:\SOME32\REGOCX32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMCTL32.OCX" (no quotes)

  33. 4) Type in the path of Someone's Coming, followed by "\REGOCX32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMDLG32.OCX" 
  34. (without quotes)
  35.    for instance, if Someone's Coming were located in "C:\SOME32", you would type:
  36.    "C:\SOME32\REGOCX32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COMDLG32.OCX" (no quotes)

  40. Q.  What is Someone's Coming?
  41. A.  Now, with the advent of Windows 95 and 32bit computing comes the
  42. inevitable promise of games.  Action games, adventure games, and all
  43. others are here or will soon be here for Win95.  Now, for all you people
  44. at work, you aren't allowed to play games, are ya?  So here, for
  45. your enjoyment is Someone's Coming.  When you run the file, it stays in
  46. the tray (the part of your taskbar that holds tiny icons) in the form of
  47. an exclamation mark.  When your boss comes in, and you are playing some
  48. cool Win95 action game, you can click on the exclamation mark and a
  49. super-business like screen will come up, with buttons, graphs, and a
  50. little text box.  He will instantly be impressed with your productivity!
  51. When he leaves, you can click the 'Exit' button, and get back to your
  52. cool game!

  54. Q.  Is it easy to use?
  55. A.  Yes.  To open the business screen, left-click on the icon once.
  56. To quit Someone's Coming, right click on the icon and click on Quit.
  57. For added protection and comfort, make an icon to Someone's Coming in
  58. your 'Startup' group, and it will automatically run whenever you open
  59. Windows 95!
