These are a few pics that can replace that boring shutdown screen. (The one that say's it's now safe to turn off your computer)
Here's how to use...
In your c:\windows directory there is a file called- Logos.sys
That is your shutdown picture. Cut that puppy out of there and replace it with one of the following...
Logos1- take off clothes
Logos2- reformatting complete
Logos3- duke
Logos4- please wait
Logos5- goodnight sir
Logos6- goodnight!
Logos7- seeya!
Logos8- gotta go bye!
Logos9- gotta get the hell outta here!
Be sure to rename it - Logos.sys
In addition this file contains Logos.sys which is a copy of the original pic (It's now safe to turn off your computer)
That's it!
Any problems feel free to Email me at jbarta@apk.net

I am often asked how to make one of these shutdown screens. This is a copy of my generic response to the question:
This is how I make a replacement shutdown screen. First of all I use
Paintshop Pro to do almost all my graphic work. You can get it at
http://www.jasc.com/psp.html I'm sure you could do it with other graphic
editors but PSP is by far the best and most versatile shareware graphic
editor out there. I will also assume you have at least a modest amount
of graphics experience.
1) I make two copies of Logos.sys and put one somewhere for safekeeping
and the other I drop into a temporary working folder somewhere.
2) Start Paintshop Pro and open your working copy of Logos.sys. When
you open it you find that it is 320 x 400 pixels in size and has a color
depth of 256 colors. This is very important. If your picture is to work
it must be put back into this format.
3) Re-size it to 640 x 480 (or 800x600 or 1024x728- whatever your screen
resolution is. If not sure, use 640x480)
4) Increase the color depth to 16 million colors to make it easier to
work with.
5) Clear the image so you have a blank picture.
6) Now do whatever you want to do to make your picture. Paste, draw,
edit, etc.
7) Once you are happy with your picture, reduce the color depth to 256
colors and re-size it back to 320 x 400 pixels. Failing to do these two
things is these biggest reason why some shutdown screens don't work.
8) Save it, rename it Logos.sys and plunk it back into c:\windows.
