  3. I wrote this program because I needed a simple file synchronization 
  4. program for my programming projects.  When working on multiple machines
  5. and taking your work with you on a laptop, a synchronization program is
  6. a must.  After discovering that the majority of shareware programs that
  7. fit my needs were grossly overpriced, I kicked out this program.

  12. System Requirements
  13. --------------------------------------
  14. This is a 32-bit program.  It will run under Windows 95 and Windows NT.

  17. How to use Syncer!
  18. --------------------------------------
  19. Using Syncer! is straight-forward.  Navigate to the two directories
  20. you wish to synchronize.  Make sure you double-click on each directory
  21. to open it.  When both directories are open, click on the synchronize
  22. button.  The rules used to synchronize directories are as follows:

  24.     #1.     If a file or folder does not exist in the other directory,
  25.         it is copied to the other directory.
  26.  
  27.     #2.    If a file is newer than a file in the other directory with
  28.         the same name, it will replace the other file.
  29.  
  30.     #3.    Syncer! automatically performs synchronization in both
  31.         directions
  32.  
  33. Syncer! will use these rules to synchronize the directories you have
  34. chosen, their files, and all subdirectories.
