Beta 2.00 Release Date: April 12, 1996
Online Help:
------------
See http://www.iterated.com/coolfusn/download/cf-help.htm
System Requirements:
--------------------
Windows 95
Video Compression installed (included with Windows 95)
256-color graphics adapter; 24-bit or high color
graphics adapter is strongly recommended
8 MB of RAM
Netscape 2.0
10 Megabytes of free hard drive space (for caching AVI files)
Installation Procedure:
-----------------------
CF20W32.EXE is a self-extracting zip file which contains a setup routine to help install
CoolFusion 2.0 in Windows 95. From Windows, run CF20W32.EXE to create the setup routines.
Next, run SETUP.EXE and follow the installation procedures. Be sure to place NPCOOL32.DLL
in the plugins subdirectory of the current version of Netscape. If you are running multiple
releases of Netscape 2.0 ( i.e. Gold or Atlas), it is necessary to run the setup program for
each version. After setup is complete, Netscape must be restarted before the plug-in will
load.
Limitations/Known Problems:
---------------------------
1) Printing is not implemented.
2) Clips that are not compressed at 1:1 interleave can cause shrieking audio output
because of missing audio data.
3) Internet connections at and below 28.8bits\sec can cause playback of content to
stop and restart during play.
