- If you are migrating from a 4.x version of Calendar Mate, you simply
- have to rename your parms file and help file as follows:
-
- RENAME CALHELP.DAT *.CH4
- RENAME CALPARM.DAT *.CP4
-
- Also, copy all the print drivers from the distribution disk and the
- calendar program:
-
- COPY A:*.PRD
- COPY A:CALENDAR.EXE
-
- From now on, the file extension of the Calendar Mate files will reflect
- the release number.
- *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
-
- If you are currently running an earlier version of Calendar Mate,
- please note that the format of everything has changed; the event
- file, the parms file and the print drivers are all incompatible
- with different versions and you MUST run SETUP to convert the
- data files.
-
- When you run SETUP, it is absolutely CRUCIAL that you are in the
- same subdirectory as all the other CALENDAR MATE files otherwise
- unpredictable results will occur.
-
- After SETUP has executed, type in CALENDAR to start Calendar Mate.
