  6. anonymous ftp or mail server. The file /pc/ts/0news-ts contains news
  7. about the TS-programs in the /pc/ts directory (in reverse order).

  17. "A simple calculator and pacer for a jogging enthusiast". Corrected
  18. the midnight bug in "PACE.EXE Timer to pace your calisthenics".
  19.    Added FILE_ID.DIZ "Brief characterization of tsjog". Some BBS
  20. systems scan for a FILE_ID.DIZ in uploaded packages and, if found,
  21. use its contents as the description in their annotated file list.
  22.    Added a brief "TSJOG.INF A readme".

  24. Sat 1-Feb-92: I have updated my average speed & time calculator
  25. JOG.EXE. A user (Hamish Whittal cchw@hippo.ru.ac.za) suggested that
  26. the one kilometer intervalling option is insufficient. I have
  27. consequently extended the usage to be
  28.  JOG DistanceKm Time [ComparisonDistance] [/i[IntervalMeters]]

  33. Sat 7-Dec-91: Updated my simple average speed & time / km calculator
  34. JOG.EXE to include interval timing for each kilometer (optional
  35. switch /i). It is available as garbo.uwasa.fi:/pc/ts/tsjog12.zip.

  37. Sun 20-Jan-91: I have updated one of my oldest packages, the jogging
  38. calculations to be /pc/ts/tsjog11.arc. It contains a simple jog.exe
  39. calculator to give your average per kilometer speed and a comparison
  40. to Cooper's test. The output of jog can now (optionally) be redirect
  41. in the customary MsDos manner. The usage of jog is simple:
  42.      JOG distance [hh:]mm:ss [ComparisonDistance]
  43.    I have added a pace.exe program, which simply shows the elapsed
  44. time to pace whatever calisthenics you may be doing. The time is
  45. shown in really big figures taking up the whole width of the screen,
  46. and changing text color once every minute.
  47.    These programs are not intended to be fancy as programs, but
  48. to perform their simple tasks as practical aids to a hobby.
