  4. {COMMO} (tm) is a Telecommunications Program that offers great power, speed
  5. and flexibility in a small, easy-to-use package.

  9. CREDIT CARD).  Registration allows you to eliminate the opening advertisement
  10. and to personalize your copy of the program.  Guidelines for SHAREWARE

  12. agreements are contained in the file LICENSE.DOC.

  37. Run the batch file GUIDE.BAT (just type "guide" at the DOS prompt).  This will
  38. show you a little bit of the program and allow you to make preliminary changes
  39. to your Setup File, COMMO.SET. Later you can take a more detailed look at the
  40. Setup File for much greater customization of the program.

  42. Please read the file COMMO.DOC.  {COMMO} is a little different from other
  43. terminal programs and the time will be well spent.  Pay special attention to
  44. the section "Quick Start Instructions" under "Getting Started" (if nothing
  45. else, please read this section!) and Appendix A "Setting Up Your Modem."

  88. {COMMO} 5.41 is primarily a maintainance release.  Upgrade instructions for
  89. users of release 5.4 are in the file UPGRADE.DOC.

  91. Previous users of {COMMO} should read the detailed list of changes in the file
  92. HISTORY.  This file also shows changes to several previous releases.

  96. 4. HP 95LX Version
  97. ------------------

  99. There is NO shareware release of {COMMO} 5.41 for the HP 95LX.  It has become
  100. apparent that 95LX users can be better served and reached in greater numbers
  101. with a commercial offering.  Hence a new, enhanced version called fastCOMM!
  102. is being prepared.  If all goes well, it should be available in early 1993 and
  103. may be ordered directly from ACE Technologies of San Jose, CA, by calling
  104. (800) 825-9977.

  106. Registered, single-license {COMMO} users will be given a 40% discount off the
  107. fastCOMM! selling price until June 30, 1993.  This new version is System
  108. Manager compliant when used in conjunction with SWITCH! 2.0 (also available
  109. from ACE Technologies).  There are many additional new features and
  110. improvements, including much better compatibility with the 95LX screen size,
  111. plus most of the {COMMO} 5.4 and 5.41 changes (see HISTORY).

  115. 5. Printed Manual Now Available

  128. {COMMO}.  In addition, the latest versions of a number of {COMMO} macros and

  131.   COMMOPNS      Shad Muegge's file selection utility.  {COMMO} Point-N-Shoot
  132.                 allows you to select files for uploading without typing
  133.                 filenames.  Integrates seamlessly with {COMMO}, comes with
  134.                 macro support.  Shareware.

  136.   MOSTHOST      Enhanced version of Shad Muegge's host mode macro.  Lets you
  137.                 set up your own little BBS.  Added features include: messaging
  138.                 with word-wrap, bulletins, expert mode, hot menus, menus in
  139.                 separate files (for easy customizing, adding color, etc.),
  140.                 file descriptions for uploads, scheduled events, and more.

  143.   CMC           Don Garrett's {COMMO} Master Control macro.  Don wrote this
  144.                 for himself, but you can adapt it.  Automatically logs you
  145.                 onto your favorite BBS to do mail runs and other operations.

  149.                 Processor for upoads and downloads plus "The Rest" -- Chuck's
