- Copyright (C) 1991-1992 Liberation Enterprises. All rights reserved.
-
- This is a rather large upgrade of Intellicomm, and along with some
- significant new features, ALL reported bugs have been fixed (or looked
- over/tinkered with, if we couldn't reproduce the problem). Was the
- product not in preliminary release at present (v0.9), a major version
- number would have been bumped (from v1.0x to v1.10... these 'major'
- releases don't require any upgrade fees but do signify fairly major
- changes), but we don't want to do this as yet, as it may lead you to
- believe the product is out of testing -- it is not.
-
- If you run into a bug from v0.92/93 that isn't fixed in v0.94, PLEASE
- delete the previous release entirely (including all data files) and
- start from scratch with v0.94. Many times due to bugs, data files can
- be corrupted (or configured improperly by the user in an attempt to
- create a work-around), and you could simply carry the problem to v0.94
- if you don't start fresh. Try using your old data files first, by all
- means, but if you do encounter similar problems as you had with 0.92/93,
- the fault may lie in your old data files, and a fresh start will be
- necessary.
-
- Quite a few new features have been introduced, and we encourage you to
- read this document (just a few pages) so you can learn how to use them
- properly. Starting Intellicomm and muddling around, you will surely
- miss many of the new items and/or may not realize what they're for and
- gloss over them and missing out on all the fun. Reading this document
- WILL be worth your while!
-
- TO UPGRADE TO V0.94: Simply enter the command "GO" (no quotes) from the
- DOS prompt, and when asked for a directory to install in, enter the
- directory where your existing copy of Intellicomm resides. ONLY those
- files that need adding/replacing will be installed, and your existing
- .INIs, etc., will not be touched. If/when the install routines replace
- an older file, the old file will be renamed to *.OLD (only if installing
- to drive C: or greater... floppy users should have a backup of their old
- disk), so you will have a backup in case something goes wrong. Once
- you're sure everything is working properly (and once you check that
- nothing important has been renamed to *.OLD), remember to delete *.OLD
- from the \ICOM, \ICOM\BIF, \ICOM\SCR directories.
-
- NOTE that your old File Tagger catalogs MUST BE CONVERTED to v0.94
- format, and the Tagger will automatically do this the first time the
- catalogs they are accessed. NO .OLD backups are made of the existing
- catalogs, so if you do wish to keep the old format catalogs for some
- reason, please make a backup before you access the v0.94 Tagger. If
- there are problems converting your old catalogs, they may have been
- corrupted due to bugs in older versions of the File Tagger. If this is
- the case, your best bet is to delete the catalog(s) and start fresh.
-
- ALTERNATE - STARTING FRESH WITH V0.94: If you would rather start fresh
- with v0.94, simply specify a brand new directory (C:\ICOM094, etc.) when
- asked where to install to. Then perhaps later, copy some of your
- previous data files (BIFs) from the old Icom release to the new
- directory -- keeping in mind that by using old data files, you could be
- moving a previous problem into v0.94 (please don't let this concern you
- now, but do keep it in mind IF you run into problems later; remember to
- delete the old data files and start from scratch).

- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 2
-
-
-
- V0.94 DOCUMENTATION: The documentation is essentially unchanged since
- v0.92 other than the version numbers, so you needn't re-print anything
- (other than perhaps this file).
-
- TECHNICAL SUPPORT: If you have a problem, complement, suggestion, or
- question about Intellicomm please contact ALL or WAYNE DUFF in any
- echoed Intellicomm or Liberator Support conference on your local BBS.
- Intellicomm echoes are available on NorthAmeriNet, RelayNet/RIME, and
- soon on SmartNet and U'NI-net (the Liberator echo will be renamed). [If
- the BBS you call picks up one or more of the above networks and does not
- carry the Intellicomm/Liberator conference, just ask your Sysop to pick
- it up for you.] I also monitor Communications/Telecommunications and
- Shareware echoes on the above networks plus EchoNet, ILink and Intelec.
- Intellicomm support is free to all for the asking.
-
-
- VERSION 0.94 NEW FEATURES/UPGRADE TIPS (Bug fixes in next section.)
-
-
- o First off, a "Menu Style" option has been added to the main setup, on
- the "Screen/File Transfer" screen, which changes the way both
- Intellicomm and the File Tagger appear, should you get bored with the
- way things look. The default menu style is double line on monochrome
- displays, and a half-thickness line on color displays. You may change
- the Menu Style by running the SETUP.EXE program, changing to the
- Screen/File Transfer screen, selecting "Edit" on the 'Menu
- Style/Colors' item, then pressing Enter or Return (or clicking your
- mouse) to cycle through the various Menu Styles. There are five menu
- styles available altogether. Note that the half-thickness line format
- looks odd with certain color combinations. Play with the "Border"
- color after setting half-thickness menu format, to choose a color that
- looks good on your display.
-
- o A "View Date" item has been added to the Tagger, which allows you to
- filter out records with a CATALOG DATE older than the View Date (the
- CATALOG DATE is the date the file was added to the catalog). I.e.
- while browsing through your catalogs (each catalog stores its own View
- Date), if you don't want to see any files from the last import, you
- may simply set a view date -later- than the previous import date, and
- none of the older files will be displayed on the screen in either
- Browse mode or Edit mode.
-
- Combine this with the new "Auto View Date" item in the Tagger's main
- setup, which automatically sets the View Date to the current date on
- new imports, and you will never have to weed through old files again.
- Note that you may also set/save each catalog's View Date manually
- whenever necessary, through the Tagger's "Tools" menu. If you don't
- wish to use View Dates, simply turn off the "Auto View Date" item in
- the Tagger's main setup, then manually set your catalog(s) to a View
- Date of 01/01/90, or something similar, and ALL records will always be
- visible.
-
- o "Bookmarks" have also been added to each catalog, allowing you save
- your position and exit the catalog without losing your place! The
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 3
-
-
-
- next time you load the catalog, you will immediately move to the saved
- Bookmark position.
-
- Combined with the new "Auto Bookmarks" item, in the Tagger's main
- setup, Bookmarks are saved/cleared without you even having to think
- about them. With Auto Bookmarks turned on, the Tagger will
- automatically save your position every time you exit a catalog (or
- Load a new catalog for viewing), and will automatically CLEAR your
- bookmark whenever a new import takes place, so that you'll always
- start at the top after an import. If you shut Auto Bookmarks off for
- some reason, you may still set/clear Bookmarks manually through the
- Tagger's "Tools" menu.
-
- o The speed of importing *.NEW lists to the Tagger been dramatically
- cut, along with Packing times. On one test we ran, an import/pack of
- a 5000-line .NEW list (to empty catalogs) took over three hours to
- import using v0.93, and just over five MINUTES with v0.94. Not
- everyone will see such a dramatic increase in speed, as it depends on
- your catalog size/the size of the lists you normally import -- but you
- will see a noticeable improvement. Whether you perform imports while
- you're out/sleeping or not (and aren't concerned with import times),
- the wear and tear on your hard drive will be much less... which
- certainly can't hurt.
-
- o Though use of the indexes was actually expanded for better sorting and
- to support the View Date item, your index files (*.NDX) will be
- slightly -smaller- under v0.94, since index keys are now stored more
- compactly.
-
- o Duplicate checking in the File Tagger is now much smarter and more
- flexible. You may now set "D/L Priority" items in each BIF (see the
- "Bank/List" screen in the BIF Editor), to tell the Tagger where the
- most desirable BBS's are for downloading files. Duplicate files found
- on a New Files list will either be ignored or REPLACED in your
- catalog, depending on the priority level set in the BIF. Priority
- level 0 is the lowest priority, and is the default ... You needn't do
- anything to any of your BIFs to set the priority to 0 -- it's already
- done. If you set a priority number of 1 or higher in a given BIF,
- then whenever a duplicate file is found for that particular BBS, it
- will replace the existing record in your catalog. Priority 1 is the
- highest, priority 2 is next... on up to thirty odd thousand. The
- Tagger will also now import *.NEW lists in ORDER, from the highest
- priority to the lowest, to avoid replacing multitudes of records.
-
- The purpose of this feature is to set priories according to whether
- the BBS is local vs. long-distance, and how much online time and/or
- download bytes you have available per day at a given BBS. If you have
- lots of time/download bytes per day on a local BBS, that BIF should be
- set to priority 1. A local BBS where you have less time might then be
- set to priority 2, and you may choose to then just leave all the other
- BIF's at priority 0 (as is). Duplicate files that exist on the
- priority 1 or 2 BBS will ALWAYS be downloaded from those boards, and
- the priority 0 BBS's will contain only unique files that you can't
- obtain from higher priority BBS's. You, of course, CAN set a specific
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 4
-
-
-
- priority for each BIF if you want, but it may be somewhat confusing to
- set up, unless you use a piece of paper to keep track of everything
- during the setup stages. If you do choose to do this, we recommend
- that you increment the priorities by 5 or so between each BIF (1, 5,
- 10, etc.), to allow for easy insertion of new BIFs later.
-
- NOTE: If a duplicate file is found for the SAME BBS or on a BBS with
- EQUAL priority, the filesize on the New Files list is compared to the
- existing filesize in the catalog, and if the new file is larger PLUS
- 1500 bytes, it replaces the existing record (plus 1500 bytes because
- BBS ads can uselessly expand the size). If it is smaller or the same
- size, it is ignored.
-
- If you don't use the File Tagger, setting BIF Download Priorities has
- no effect.
-
- o If you choose not to use the above, you may now also turn duplicate
- checking off entirely, via a Tagger Setup item (see the Tagger "Tools"
- menu), if you'd rather sort the dupes out yourself. If you do this,
- it is recommended that you set your default sort order to
- Filename/Date so duplicate files will appear together, saving you from
- tagging a file twice on different BBS's.
-
- o Tagger catalog access is now much more reliable, but if an error does
- occur and the Tagger can't open/read a catalog -- it will
- automatically attempt a rebuild rather than printing a message asking
- you to do so.
-
- o The way the Tagger handles 'auto-tagged' files has also been improved.
- If you use auto-Tag strings (see the Tagger's Tools/Setup if you
- don't) you'll be relieved to know that the Tagger now uses a different
- symbol for auto-tagged files, and thus can display/handle them
- separately from files you tag manually yourself. Auto-tagged files
- are now NOT exported to the .GET lists until/unless you change the
- auto-tag to a regular tag (simply select "Tag" over an auto-Tag and it
- will change to a regular Tag). This avoids those surprises, if you
- forget to examine/untag the auto-tagged files between automated
- runs.... Auto-tagged files will now also be PURGED in the automatic
- purge routines, so if you use the View Date option (which will filter
- out previously imported files, including the last auto-Tagged ones),
- you needn't even worry about untagging the auto-Tagged files.
-
- o The Tagger's "Untag" item has been expanded to support the auto-Tags
- mentioned above, for those times when you want to clear tags quickly.
- Now when you select Untag, you are prompted for the type of Tags you
- wish to untag; Auto-Tagged, Tagged, or Both.
-
- o Support for bi-directional (HS/Link) MAIL transfers has been added to
- Intellicomm. Please read the remarks in HSMAIL.BAT and HSLINK.BAT for
- proper setup instructions.
-
- o You may now access the Intellicomm main setup -directly- from Terminal
- mode. There is no hotkey, but selecting Alt-Z, then Tools/Icom Setup
- from the Terminal gets you into the main setup where you can change
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 5
-
-
-
- all global items. On return, Intellicomm will re-read the proper .INI
- file to read in the new settings -- but it will not disturb the
- current port number or settings, even if you changed them in the main
- setup. To change port settings from Terminal mode, instead please do
- so using the regular [Alt-P] Port Settings menu.
-
- o A "Minimum Connect Speed" item has been added to the main setup
- (Dialing screen), which will cause Intellicomm to display a ten second
- warning, then hangup and try again if it gets connected at slower
- speed. The item defaults to 300 bps (any speed), so if you intend to
- use this item you should set the minimum speed to the MODEM-TO-MODEM
- speed, and not the terminal speed which is usually higher. I.e. if
- you have an HST modem, you could set the Minimum Connect Speed to 9600
- -- but NOT 19200. 19200 is the port speed and has nothing to do with
- the connect speed between the modems. For this item to work properly,
- your modem MUST report the modem-to-modem speed in its CONNECT xxxx
- message (keeping in mind that CONNECT is a configurable string... if
- it reports CARRIER 9600 or something, you could simply change CONNECT
- to CARRIER in the main setup).
-
- o Intellicomm will now bypass dialing/logon if you are already connected
- when you "Run" a job. I.e. you may connect to a BBS with another
- comm. program, or manually via the BBS Dir, then start a job (or
- multiple Jobs, for that matter) when already online. The jobs will
- run normally, except that on the very FIRST 'Call <some BBS>' task
- Intellicomm runs across, it will skip dialing/logon and will instead
- just start with the first online task. Thus you must ensure that the
- first 'Call <some BBS>' in the Job is the BBS you are connected to.
-
- o Internal Zmodem now features "smart" crash recovery, as well as the
- regular (dumb) crash recover (configurable in the main setup, on the
- "Screen/File Transfer" screen). If an incoming file exists when a
- Zmodem download begins, and Smart Crash Recovery is on, Intellicomm
- requests a CRC-check from the remote, and then performs the same check
- on the existing file... If there's a CRC mismatch, the file is assumed
- to be either corrupted or not the same, and Icom will start a fresh
- download by renaming the incoming file in the usual manner (FILE.ZIP
- becomes FILE.ZI0). This item can prove quite handy for message packet
- downloads, since Zmodem will now only append to a packet when it is
- safe/proper to do so.
-
- o Also added to internal Zmodem are "batch" statistics during the
- download, which show you the big picture if downloading multiple files
- in one transfer. This feature is also supported in Ymodem batch
- downloads, if the remote specifies the batch statistics (DSZ doesn't
- seem to do this on Ymodem transfers, and since most BBS's use DSZ you
- may not see many batch stats for Ymodem downloads... Icom does
- support them on Ymodem uploads, however).
-
- o You may now override your default Up/Download Directories, by
- specifying paths in the new "Upload PATH", "Download Dir" items on the
- BIF "File" screen. This is similar to the optional Message/Reply
- overrides, on the "Message" screen. I.e. each BBS can have its own
- up/download directories now.
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 6
-
-
-
-
- o Several optimizations were performed on the internal protocols (more
- are coming in the next update) and terminal routines. This should
- result in slightly higher transfer speeds and faster screen displays
- when in terminal mode. On high-speed modems, one of the changes made
- could result in a slightly lower CPS (characters per second) rate --
- but should also cut down on the CRC errors, resulting in shorter
- overall transfers times.
-
- o Previously a 1024-byte disk buffer was used for all internal file
- transfers, which resulted in a read/write from/to disk on every
- 'block' during a 1k-Xmodem, Ymodem, or Zmodem download. Intellicomm
- now attempts to allocate a disk buffer the same size as the internal
- "Receive Buffer", configured in the main setup (defaults to 4
- kilobytes). The disk buffer size will be lowered, however, if there
- is insufficient memory. This new feature results in fewer disk
- read/writes (less wear and tear on your drives) during file transfers,
- but higher memory requirements.
-
- o A "Set Transfer Mode" item has been added to the Terminal (see the
- "File Transfer" menu, after an Alt-Z in the Terminal), which allows
- you to change Intellicomm's protocol 'mode' to either ASCII or Binary
- (or to force it neither way, and to let the remote decide). If set to
- "ASCII", then Icom will check to ensure that all Line Feed characters
- are preceded by a Carriage Return when written to disk.
-
- o The maximum "Scrollback Buffer" size has been expanded from 10K to 64K
- (see the main setup/Terminal screen), for those with lots of memory
- who like to keep larger buffers. On slow computers, setting a larger
- scrollback buffer size could slow the terminal down significantly, and
- should you experience a major slow-down you'll have to adjust the
- scrollback size to suit: The larger it is, the more time it takes to
- maintain it.
-
- o Two command line switches have been added to ICOM.EXE. The /Area:
- switch allows you to have Intellicomm switch to a specific startup
- area on entry to the program. /Area:Job, /Area:BBS or BIF,
- /Area:Terminal, or /Area:Script will take you to the Job Directory,
- BBS Directory, Terminal, or Script Manager respectively (you actually
- need only use the first letter of the item... /Area:T is sufficient to
- get you to Terminal mode). Also added is an /O (nline) switch, which
- tells Intellicomm that you're already online, and it will thus refrain
- from initializing the modem and go directly to Terminal mode.
-
- o Support for PREJOB.BAT / POSTJOB.BAT has been added to complement
- PRE/POSTMAIL.BAT and PRE/POSTDOWN.BAT. The PREJOB.BAT file, if found,
- will be executed before ANY job, whether mail transfers or file
- transfers are taking place or not. POSTJOB.BAT will be executed after
- all jobs complete. All these .BATs are now properly executed if a
- 'Repeat Job' task is encountered -- and they are executed before any
- Tagger imports take place, so you can manipulate the *.NEW files
- (rename some so they don't get imported) if you so desire. If you
- already use, say, POSTDOWN.BAT, then POSTJOB.BAT will run as -well- as
- POSTDOWN.BAT, if a download takes place. I.e. it runs on EVERY Job
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 7
-
-
-
- (once per... not between each Job if you Tag multiple Jobs), no matter
- what the Job does.
-
- o Two vertical bars (||) may now be used within Intellicomm commands (in
- BIFs or Custom Commands) to tell Intellicomm to -wait- for any main
- menu before continuing on with the command. "Any main menu" means
- either of the "Main Menu" prompts defined on the Logon screen, or the
- "Bank Menu", or the "Message Menu", or the "File Menu", defined on
- their respective BIF screens. For example, "F^M||D" would cause
- Intellicomm to send the letter F then a CR, then -wait- for any BBS
- main menu before sending the D and anything following. The intended
- use is for menus (doors) which sometimes take a long time to access...
- it saves having to guess how many ~ (pause) characters to use.
-
- A note to Liberator users who were used to using one vertical bar in
- Liberator Custom Commands: Intellicomm does NOT automatically send a
- carriage return (press Enter) when it encounters ||, due to the
- 'hotkeys' available on some BBS's, and simply because it limits
- flexibility to force a CR. If you want a CR before the pause, you
- must add it (OPEN DOOR^M||SEND THIS). As with all commands, a CR will
- be added at the very END of the command, if the BIF 'CR w/Commands?'
- item is turned ON.
-
- o The Intellicomm command character '~' (pause for 1 second) has been
- given a bit more intelligence, to improve reliability. Now, instead
- of just pausing for 1 second, this character actually waits until
- there is no activity from the BBS -for- one second. I.e. it can now
- be used to just wait until one second after the next BBS pause, so you
- can be (relatively) sure you're at a prompt and the BBS is ready for
- the next command. This will eliminate the need for multiple ~~~ in
- many circumstances, though you still may use multiples if necessary.
-
- o If you must send either the ~ (described above) or || (pause for a
- menu) characters in a command, you may now 'escape' them by preceding
- the item with the ^ escape character (^~ or ^|). To send the ^
- character, use two ^^.
-
- o The "Time/Bytes Accepted" prompts on the BIF "Bank/List" screen were
- not really necessary and have been replaced with separate, more
- useful, Deposit/Withdraw Time/Bytes prompts. The order in which
- Intellicomm performs Time/Byte transactions has also been switched to
- Byte/Time (brain-dead doors allow you to deposit all your time,
- leaving not a second left to deposit the bytes).
-
- o Previously, bank deposits/withdrawals accepted only a number when
- setting up your Jobs. You may now specify any
- characters/symbols/numbers in these items, which allows support for
- entering 'A' (for ALL) time in a PCBoard DEPOSITORY bank transaction.
-
- o The current system date/time has been added to various menus, to allow
- you to call a clock up when you need it. In the Terminal, Scrollback
- Buffer or internal Editor, the date/time is now displayed on the "Alt-
- Z" menu. Most other places, you can view the time on the Hotkey menu
- by pressing the F1 function key.
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 8
-
-
-
- o Pressing [Alt-Space] from Terminal mode will cause Intellicomm to
- place a << CAPTURE MARK [n] >> in the capture file (n being a mark
- number), if open. This can be used to mark a spot/get your attention
- later when browsing the capture file.
-
- o Qmail PTR uploads will now take place before your REPly upload, if you
- have any replies to upload... Regrettably, the TomCat door now also
- supports these clunky PTR files, and thus Intellicomm has been
- expanded to handle automatic TomCat PTR uploads, similar to the way it
- handles them in RoseMail/Qmail v4: if the PTR is found, it's
- uploaded, if not, it's not. Your "switch" to control whether the PTR
- gets uploaded lies in extracting/deleting the PTR (please see
- EXAMPLES.DOC for some help on doing this automatically).
-
-
- VERSION 0.93 BUGS FIXED IN 0.94
-
- o A small CTS/RTS flow control problem, with very LARGE effects on high
- speed modems/slower computers, has been corrected. If you experienced
- missing characters in terminal mode, or excessive CRC errors during
- downloads, this update should correct the problem.
-
- o The File Tagger has had a complete overhaul/cleanup and is now much
- more reliable.
-
- o Carriage Return/Line Feed characters, combined with line-wrapping,
- were not always being handled properly in terminal mode. This
- resulted in messed up screens under certain circumstances. Some other
- ANSI terminal problems were also fixed.
-
- o Doorway mode/ANSI cursor -keys- fixed. Same fix also corrects cursor
- update problem when local echo is ON.
-
- o So many more items were fixed/worked on that we can't begin to list
- them all. Suffice to say that EVERYTHING is fixed, as far as we know.
- If you do encounter a problem, and the problem persists after you
- delete v0.92 or v0.93 completely and try again from a fresh start,
- please re-report the problem to us so we can take another look. We
- were never able to reproduce some of the problems reported, and thus
- it's impossible to test whether a change we made had the proper
- effect.
-
-
- VERSION 0.93 UPGRADE TIPS (Please read if upgrading from v0.92)
-
- o The default modem init string in v0.92 was faulty if you entered a
- speed of 2400 baud or greater in the main installation. It was
- supposed to insert &C1 &D2 in the default init string, just before the
- Q0 command, but unfortunately the D2 was not added and it ended up as
- &C1 &Q0 instead of &C1 &D2 Q0. If you have any major problems with
- Intellicomm, it is recommended that you just delete ICOM.INI and start
- again with the new defaults.
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 9
-
-
-
- o If your modem is not being initialized prior to dialing, etc., run
- SETUP.EXE and change the Terminal screen "Init Modem if Carrier?" item
- to Yes. This item now defaults to Yes on new setups.
-
- o If you have a 16550 UART chip in your system, you may want to increase
- the "16550 Receive Trigger" to 4 or 8 bytes in the main SETUP, on the
- Terminal screen (after installation). This item defaulted to 1 byte
- in v0.92, which basically makes your 16550 act like a regular UART.
- It now defaults to 4 bytes in new setups.
-
-
- VERSION 0.93 NEW FEATURES
-
- o Changed the way the capture file and scrollback buffer is updated in
- an effort to speed things up a bit for high speed users. Also made
- some changes to the internal protocols to increase speed, and disabled
- the mouse during file transfers.
-
- o Added "No Time Left" prompt to the BIF Message screen to support the
- Qmail/Rosemail <NO TIME> prompt. Other mail systems may support a
- similar type of prompt, but I didn't have time to get them all and add
- to all the other .MTFs.
-
- o Added the ability to configure the mouse vertical/horizontal speeds.
- Run SETUP.EXE and Edit "Mouse Mode/Speed" on screen 1 to change the
- settings for your mouse.
-
- o File comments/descriptions may now be preceded by a space as well as a
- tab character. Some editors (including Intellicomm's internal editor)
- convert tab characters to spaces when the tab key is pressed, and
- descriptions were not being recognized in this case.
-
- o When entering directory names on the main setup's "File/Path" screen,
- SETUP.EXE now checks to ensure that the directory exists, and if not
- it lets you know and asks whether to create it.
-
-
- VERSION 0.92 BUGS FIXED IN 0.93
-
- o The problem a few people encountered with redialling after a job had
- completed successfully is now fixed.
-
- o Files tagged for uploading in the File Tagger's FILELIST catalog were
- only exported to the first .SND list encountered. It's now working
- properly and you need only tag the file once and it will be exported
- to all .SND lists for all uploads requested.
-
- o The task "Switch to <some BIF>" is now operational.
-
- o Long distance codes are now operational.
-
- o The video problems with UltraVision and the ATI Graphics Solution
- adapters have hopefully been fixed. Please report any problems that
- still occur so I can make further changes if necessary.
-
-
-
-
- Intellicomm v0.94 NEW&FIXD.DOC 10
-
-
-
- o The command line /Run: switch was not working properly when quotes
- were used in the search string. I.e. /Run:MAIL would work fine, but
- /Run:"Get Mail" would not. Now fixed and both methods work.
-
- o The WildCat v3 BIF (WCAT03.BIF) has been changed to add the "Mail
- waiting, do you wish to read" prompt, and the updated WCAT03.BIF will
- overwrite your old WCAT03.BIF in the installation -- please re-enter
