  14. The Stock Trader is a menu driven stock trading program for tracking
  15. the performance of a group of stocks selected by the user. Data normally
  16. available in the daily newspapers is used and entered on a regular basis.
  17. It is suggested that entry for the listed stocks be done daily, or the
  18. information the program generates will be less accurate than expected.

  20. The performance of selected issues is plotted over a thirty day period
  21. (100 days on the registered version) in x-y mode at the user's request, and
  22. plotted performance can be printed.

  24. The program generates buy and sell signals for the stocks listed on the
  25. data files, and the parameters by which these decisions are reached are
  26. accessible to the user. A certain history is needed (a learning curve)
  27. before it can be expected that a user could do the amendments to improve
  28. the buy/sell suggestions. It is made very clear that the program is a tool
  29. rather than a crystal ball.

  31. This program runs from DOS 2.1 or higher and requires a graphics screen.
