  11. ..In general, do not indent here.  My_Agent indents for you, the number of
  12. ..columns which you specified (and can change) in Install (Agent4).

  14. ..The program ignores any line which begins with 2 dots.

  16. ..The program recognizes three commands if those commands 
  17. ..begin in the first column of a line:

  19. ..         .PA       automatically ends the page
  20. ..         .CP n     ends the only if you have fewer than n lines left.
  21. ..         ~         signals that you want to enter text from the keyboard.
  22. ..                   The program prompts you to do so, and tells you how
  23. ..                   to return to your letter text.

  25. ..                   With QUERY1.LET the program also prompts whether you 
  26. ..                   have queried earlier.  When you have, you might want 
  27. ..                   to enter stronger text when the program prompts at the ~.

  29. ..          Note:    Use page-end commands only if you need them within your 
  30. ..                   text. Don't put them at the end.  The program does those.

  32. ..The text below always comes after any installed heading, the date, 
  33. ..the inside address, and "Dear editor" line.  You should end the text with 
  34. ..your own version of "Yours Truly".  Include your name only if you have not
  35. ..installed a heading.  The program always then lists the manuscripts
  36. ..involved for this particular publisher.

  38. ..When you have mastered the principles here.  You might want to delete 
  39. ..these lines from the working copies of all of your .LET files, to speed
  40. ..the My_Agent printouts of them, and to save space.
