Hearts 'n' Kisses Screen Saver v1.0 (c) 1997 Pete Appleton
pete@rayko.demon.co.uk
(Freeware. Terms & conditions at end of document).
Hearts 'n' Kisses is a simple but hopefully fun screen saver which
displays animated hearts that occasionally blow kisses. It has sound
support ("multimedia") if you wish. It will run under Windows 95 or
Windows/NT, but NOT under 3.1x.
To use the program, run the setup program included, or just copy
saver.scr into your windows system directory. An uninstall utility is
provided which can be accessed from control panel in the normal way.
This program is written in Visual C++ v5.0, and requires the shared
library MFC42.DLL to run. If you don't have it, which you probably
do, it can be obtained from http://www.rayko.demon.co.uk. I chose
not to distribute it with this program in order to reduce the size.
If you try the program, please email me and let me know what you think.
Even if you think it's awful! My email address is at the top of this
document.
This is the first program I wrote in Visual C++, and is dedicated to my
wife, Judi, who inspired the subject matter.
Known Bugs:
The small-window preview in the screen saver selection box has occasional
trails left behind. This does not occur when running as a screen saver.
The problem is due to the small window size meaning that a kiss object can
move outside a heart object on one refresh. If I get any feedback on the
program, I'll probably rectify this.
Terms and Conditions:
This program is freeware. That means that you have the right to use it
without paying the author any money subject to the following conditions:
1. You must not charge any money for distribution or copying of this
program, apart from reasonable expenses.
2. You must not distribute this program in whole or in part with or as
part of anything for which the end-user is requested or required to

3. You accept full responsibility and liability for usage of the program.
The author will not be responsible for any loss or liability, whether
direct or indirect, arising from or caused by the usage or installation
of this program.
You MAY reverse engineer the code if you wish. You may also prefer to
ask me to send you the source code <g>.
