  1.   *********           Welcome to Pro Football EDGE!    *****************
  2.        Pro Football EDGE!  is a comprehensive program for handicapping
  3.                  NFL WINNERS and OVER/UNDER POINT TOTALS.    
  4.   
  5.   Requires: IBM Compatible,  512KB RAM,  Color or Mono, 700 KB Disk Space
  6.              -- Dual floppy or single high density drive.
  7.   
  8.  
  9.         The installation process is automatic.   Just type "install" on
  10.    the  DOS Command line followed with a <RETURN> or <ENTER> key.   Pro
  11.    Football EDGE!    takes  up  about  400  KB  of  space  and needs an
  12.    additional 300KB to operate.   So if you have  a  hard  drive,   you
  13.    should definitely install it there.
  14.   
  15.        If you have dual low density drives (360KB) then you will need 2
  16.    floppies and 2 working drives to install and use Pro Football EDGE!
  17.     
  18.        After installation,  move to the drive and directory  containing
  19.    the installed  pfe.exe  file  and  type  "pfe"  <RETURN>  on the DOS
  20.    Command line.

  22.       BLINKING TEXT:  If any of  the  windows within Pro Football EDGE!
  23.    have "blinking" text then PFE!   is incorrectly configured for  your
  24.    monitor.  To fix this simply type on the DOS command line:
  25.   
  26.                 "pfe m" if you have a MONOCHROME Montor
  27.                 "pfe c" if you have a CGA COLOR  Montor
  28.                 "pfe v" if you have a EGA or VGA Montor
  29.   
  30.    This  only needs to be done one time.   9 times out 10 the "install"
  31.    program will accomplish this for you in the first place.

  34.        All  necessary  documentation is located right where you'll need
  35.    it  --  in  the  software!     With  the  context  help  and  online
  36.    documentation included within Pro Football EDGE!, you should be able
  37.    to operate the software with relative ease.
