OCR: WHAT A CAT SEES B Y DAY AND BY NIGHT, cats have a different view of the world from that seen by humans. Unlike humans, cats have poor color vision. By day, cats have a wide, three- dimensional field of vision, with the ability to focus directly ahead, which helps them pinpoint their prey. Humans see a clearly focused, three-dimensional view of the world. Our field of vision is narrower than that of cats, but we can distinguish colors. By night, a cat's vision is limited, but it makes maximum use of available light, with the clearest area in the center of its field of vision. Humans have very limited vision at night. Click between cat and human eyes to see how each species views the world, in both daylight and at night. ALSO
