  25. Calhoon hated to kill off a character as inherently interesting as
  26. Mother Puleeze but the symmetry of the plot made it necessary.  In the
  27. original version her name was spelled <Puleze> because Calhoon wanted
  28. the four victim's names to be two six-letter words.  But for this
  29. version he decided to make the pun even more broad by making its
  30. pronunciation a little clearer -- at the expense of losing the six-six
  31. symmetry.
