u EXPERTS PREDICT MASSIVE POWER
FLUCTUATIONS IN AMERICA'S
CITY OF THE SLUGGER
LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- Inside sources
at the New Albany Nuclear Power
Complex revealed yesterday a plot
uncovered by HomeTown Security that
will dim billions of bulbs along the
Ohio River on May 13-15, 2005.
A secret, almost forgotten group
of Techno-Luddites will be meeting in
across the river in New Albany,
Indiana, on those two days, firing up
their antiquated contraptions and
swapping software on floppy disks --
the old kind that really flop! These
ancient computers, according to
experts, are comparable to the one
called ENIAC, which was blamed for
brown-outs in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, during the Second World
War.
The gathering is known by the code
name LUCKI 2005, and will be the sixth
such "expo" in the Louisville Metro
area. Authorities say that there is
really nothing Louisville and New
Albany residents can do about it,
except to repeatedly save any
documents on which they are working on
their PCs and Macs.
