  7.     The latest issue of international
  8. news about the Commodore scene hit my
  9. email box just as this edition of
  10. LOADSTAR was beginning to form. While
  11. we realize that some of you can get
  12. Scene World off the Wed, we are very
  13. aware that many of you have not gone
  14. that way.
  15.  
  16.     But we all need to know that the
  17. C= is NOT (and never will be) a dead
  18. computer. Activity is happening all
  19. over the globe to keep us alive.
  20.  
  21.     I doff my hat to Joerg Droege and
  22. the rest of People of Liberty for
  23. bringing so much news and views to us.
  24. I remember years ago when Joerg was
  25. first building the idea behind People
  26. of Liberty. His hope was to bridge the
  27. gap between NTSC and PAL users. While
  28. certain technical and social realities
  29. still stand between the two, we are
  30. closer than ever -- partly thanks to
  31. the determiniation of PoL.
