SCHUBERT & FRIENDS
Text and Transcription
by Corky Cochran
Art by D. Moorman & Walt Harned
This time in our concert series we
have some music by Franz Schubert.
Some very lovely music to be heard
here today! Also I found two gems when
I was web surfing one night. I have
put them in the concert as well.
So sit back! Get comfortable! And
begin the concert anytime you wish.
[THE EDITOR CANNOT LEAVE WELL ENOUGH]
[ALONE!] On the last issue, I
discovered that Enhanced SIDPlayer
does graphics! While we have some
great multi-media presentation
programs, I found adding images to
these songs easy and fun.
The first song on our program,
Serenade, brought to mind images of a
couple strolling in Paris -- so I
found an image and made a "sketch" of
just such a scene. For the rest of the
music, we have some wonderful Walt
Harned adaptations of Impressionistic
artists, which seemed to give visual
life to the music.
