D I S K O V E R Y
by Dave Moorman
'Tis the season to be jolly! We
darned well better be, what with the
shortening of daylight hours (we have
a 4:30 pm sunset in Holly) and the
increase of frustration that comes
with the Season. Kids whine. Spouses
gripe. Stores are crowded. And the End
of the Calendar approaches. All those
get-togethers we promised we would do
in 2002 have to be pried into these
last 31 days.
Oh well, LOADSTAR came relatively
early. And this issue is crammed to
the BAM with Holiday Entertainment.
At my real job, we breathlessly
await the advent of Baby Jesus. But
here, in my 218th floor penthouse
office, I realize that Baby Jesus is
not such a big deal for others. We
still need this Winter Solstice
holiday. I like to call it WinterFest,
which it is for everyone.
I promised some of you that the
LOADSTAR Library Update would be on
this issue. Sorry. We are out of room.
But Sheri is typing the data this very
moment....uh -- as soon, she says, as
she beats the casino at Las Vegas
Klondike. Anyway, we will have it for
you on issue 219.
So enjoy the Season!
