That fellow that was having trouble
with PRACTIFILE may not have been
exiting the disk correctly. If you
exit incorrectly, it will leave the
file open!!!!

In re: Loadstar issue number labels
peeling off. This has happened to me
several times, so far with no ill
effects. Now I peel the label off
before I use the disk and mark the
number with a soft-point felt tip
pen.

Are there any LOADSTAR members who
are interested in AMATEUR RADIO and
related logging/scoring programs? I
presently have the C-128 with
Microlog Air-1 for RTTY and would be
interested in hearing from you. I am
currently developing log and
crosscheck and QSL label programs
using the 802 printer. I also have
propagation forecast ability using
SUN's.

Question to GATLIN 97240:
You said in your review of
FONTMASTER by XETEC in issue #17 of
LOADSTAR that you entered an old
world Gothic font. I am very
interested in the old styles of
writing such as Gothic and old
English. If it is possible, I would
like to get such a font. If you
could send your address and price to
my address, I would greatly
appreciate a copy of your Gothic font
and any other fonts you may have
created and feel might be useful. I
can supply the disk for you and am
willing to pay for the work you put
into it, plus the fee of copying it
onto one of my disks. Thank you! My
address is:
Ron Coffen
25 Bittersweet Dr.
Hagerstown, MD 21740
P.S. I would also like to hear from
others out there who may have created
their own fonts.

I have an OKIMATE 10 color printer
and I also have PRINTSHOP. I have no
problem getting PRINTSHOP to work
when I load the back side of the
PRINTSHOP disk. Hope it works for
you, too.

In reference to your question about
the Indus GT Drive.
I have found that the only time
software won't work with the GT is
when the publisher copy-protects the
program to such an extent that the GT
works "too good" to emulate the 1541.
On the occasions that this has
happened the publisher (NOT THE
STORE) has refunded my money. The
number one offender in this category
so far seems to be Activision's newer
games

To re-enable FASTLOAD, you need not
use the Poke statements. Just type
SYS57194 and FASTLOAD is back.
