  7.   I have a C-128, a 1541 disk drive,

  9. and a MPS-802 printer. I have had no

  11. success at all loading 'Paperless
  12.  
  13. Pages.' Each time I loaded the

  15. programs, I would receive (CLR/HOME)
  16.  
  17. with the READY prompt, and if I tried
  18.  
  19. to run the program again, I'd receive
  20.  
  21. the same thing.

  23.   I finally decided to load the
  24.  
  25. "Presenter" from Issue 7, which starts
  26.  
  27. with line 5, rather than line 1,
  28.  
  29. modified line 7 to read
  30.  
  31.        LOAD"ROUTINES V4",8,1
  32.  
  33. inserted Issue 17, and the program
  34.  
  35. worked well.
  36.  
  37.   Why were lines 1-4 added and line 6
  38.  
  39. modified, and what could be the
  40.  
  41. reason the newer versions don't work
  42.  
  43. while the older ones do? Also, have
  44.  
  45. other subscribers had this problem?

  49. another issue, modify lines,

  51. re-insert the issue I want, and then

  53. continue. Please help me out, and in

  55. case you're wondering, yes I'm using

  59. thing happened when I had the C-64.

  80.   This is my first Loadstar disk and

  82. I am having a great deal of difficulty

  84. in extracting, to a duplicate disk,

  86. working copies of the Mr.Mailman

  88. program and the ABC.Sort program.

  90.   I can get copies of Mailman to a

  92. duplicate disk and seem to be able to
  93.  
  94. create the data file. However, when
  95.  
  96. instructing the program to do
  97.  
  98. anything with the data file such as
  99.  
  100. sort, print, etc. the disk drive
  101.  
  102. (MSD-2) will run continuously without
  103.  
  104. producing any results. Further, I am
  105.  
  106. only able to put one name in the data
  107.  
  108. file.

  110.   In the ABC.SORT program, my copy
  111.  
  112. doesn't work at all.

  114.   I would appreciate any help you

  116. could give me in curing these
  117.

  243. that disk.  I didn't see them

  245. mentioned in BUGS & STUFF on the next

  247. LOADSTAR disks.  Are these files

  249. created by the program; or did you

  251. forget to include them?

  311. on each billing and the cumulative of

  313. all commissions for one month. As you

  315. can see, I need 6 or 7 columns to work

  317. such a system. Is it possible to adapt

  319. the spreadsheet to do so and how do I
  320.  
  321. go about it?
