Written by: Lynn Minniti
Automatic Disk Back-Up and Retrieve
Page 56
Commodore Microcomputers, April 1985
This program is to be used with
the DISK TO TAPE program found in
this issue of LOADSTAR.
Before running this program, be sure
to save a copy of it, using the name
of 'TAPE', on the disk which is going
to be the destination for the programs
on your tapes.
After saving a copy of the program
onto your disk, place a tape with your
back-up programs into the datasette.
Next, LOAD and RUN the program TAPE.
The program will tell you to PRESS
PLAY ON TAPE. After doing so, all of
the programs on that tape will be
transferred to your disk.
When the tape reaches the end, the
computer will stop and tell you to
PRESS PLAY ON TAPE. If you are
finished transferring programs to your
disk, you can turn everything off.
If you are not finished, simply insert
another tape into your datasette and
then press PLAY. The program will
then continue to do its work.
*** NOTE ***
Because of the nature of this pro-
gram, it does NOT return to LOADSTAR.
If you attempt to RUN this program
from LOADSTAR, you will be given a
choice of whether you REALLY want to
RUN the program or not. If not, you
can then return to LOADSTAR.
