  1. COLLAGE BETA
  2.  
  3. This is the beta release of NCSA Collage. This program has many of 
  4. the features of NCSA Image, NCSA PalEdit, and NCSA DataScope. 
  5. Additionally, it has ability to perform the functions collaboratively, 
  6. that is several scientists can share the same data space and exchange
  7. ideas and data.
  8.  
  9. There is only one file in this distribution: Collage.sit.hqx.
  10. This file contains a server program, the docs and Collage. The server
  11. is effectively obsolete; its functionality is build into the program. You
  12. may still use the server, the built in server is new, and is prone to 
  13. errors.

  15. CHANGES

  17. There have been hundreds, to many to enumerate here, but most are
  18. not visible to the user (unless it crashes). It will animate histograms
  19. if the histogram is from a selection in an animating movie window.
  20. Also, a small arrow appears in the upper right hand corner of the 
  21. menu bar while the program is busy handling network traffic. Many
  22. other bugs have been fixed, and the screen capture send frame button
  23. now provides the user with feedback when the button has been 
  24. activated.
