COLLAGE BETA
This is the beta release of NCSA Collage. This program has many of
the features of NCSA Image, NCSA PalEdit, and NCSA DataScope.
Additionally, it has ability to perform the functions collaboratively,
that is several scientists can share the same data space and exchange
ideas and data.
There is only one file in this distribution: Collage.sit.hqx.
This file contains a server program, the docs and Collage. The server
is effectively obsolete; its functionality is build into the program. You
may still use the server, the built in server is new, and is prone to
errors.
CHANGES
There have been hundreds, to many to enumerate here, but most are
not visible to the user (unless it crashes). It will animate histograms
if the histogram is from a selection in an animating movie window.
Also, a small arrow appears in the upper right hand corner of the
menu bar while the program is busy handling network traffic. Many
other bugs have been fixed, and the screen capture send frame button
now provides the user with feedback when the button has been
activated.
