  1. I try to boot from my IDE drive on my a1200 equipped with 50mhz 1230XA.
  2. Here are the last two lines that it printed before freezing:

  4.  find_busslaves: for a3000scsi0
  5.  looking for sd0 at slave 0  ... and it died there
  6. Hope it will help someone in the process of debugging that.
