  7. Hm, gcc can't currently output pcrelative code (just PIC, but that's
  8. not what you want). As far as I remember, gcc-1.40 distributed as the
  9. Amiga Unix compiler supported some sort of pcrel code generation, I 
  10. however don't remember how well it did this. I don't think that code
  11. made it into any gcc2 release.
