  17. Wow - I could never do even a single boot until the fix, and it hasn't
  18. failed yet.  I tried a lot, believe me.  Hmmm, maybe kcd is
  19. initialized to a random number which only sometimes works.  For me
  20. this number was always 0, giving instant lock up.  I still get a funny bootup
  21. message, something like "Zorro memory at 00000000+00000000" though.

  35. He is quite right of course.  My own server (Xami) does the same (black
  36. screen) right now.  That's ok though, since I've been wanting to 
  37. reimplement with Chris H's views stuff for a while now.  If it's anything
  38. like iteconfig, it should be a pleasant experience.  When I said "At last
  39. I can go back to X11", I meant X11 *development* :-).
