- Hmmm. Ack! After reading all this mail on getting vmunix720 to
- load/compile, I still cannot boot it! All loadbsd does (the 6696 byte
- one) is say "Using 16M FASTMEM at 0x7000000, 2M CHIPMEM" on the
- AmigaDOS side (which is correct and what it normally says).
-
- But then the screen just flashes once and I'm stuck with a bunch of
- frozen AmigaDOS windows and nothing to do but C-A-A. Sometimes it
- garbles the screen just a little beore locking up, but never even gets
- around to clearing it. This is on my A3000T 030+16M+2M.
-
- I have patched the kernel many novel and different ways as well as
- recompiling it on the NetBSD side many novel and different ways, to
- no avail. All other kernels have booted w/o a hitch for me.
-
- Is it possible that the loadbsd is dependent on these new binary
- distributions that I have not yet downloaded?
-
- Also, what do all the loadbsd options mean? I have yet to see these all
- in one place yet. I think I know what -a, -p and maybe -k mean.
-
- What else may I have missed? It is possible that I missed something key
- since mail is down about 20% of the time here.
-
- Thanks!
